Introduction

Jenderal Soedirman University (UNSOED) is a public university in indonesia, establish in 1963 with student body more than 23,000 students. This university is located in Purwokerto, Central Java. Unsoed campus is surrounded by beautiful scenary of Mt. Slamet and Serayu river, creating a most pleasant and comfortable environment to live and study.

The nursing program is established in 2005, and has graduated more than 1000 students. This program is offering undergraduate nursing degree, and master program in the near future. For many years our students have become the top rank in the indonesian nursing qualification exam. Among the locations where our alumni have been employed are public hoapitals, nursing schools, primary health services and other healtg related settings.

International nursing program prepares young generation to become excellent nurses who are internationally recognized by providing an exceptional learning process which integrates nursing and social sciences. Nurse is a high required profession globally and this will continue as the population keeps increasing and a better health care become every citizen's right.

The prospect profession of nursing world would be practitioners, researcher, educator, manager and health entrepreneur.

It is compulsory for students of international program to have an international experience during this program. Students can choose at least one of the following activities:

1. Student exchange: students study overseas for one or two semester and the credit earned is transferred.
2. International internship: students spend 1 to 3 months in partner universities.
3. International academic/clinical exposure: students spend 3-7 days to do academic activities including attending classes in partber universities.
4. Overseas international events: students participate in student event such as international competition and cultural exhibitions
5. International community service
6. Overseas international seminar: Students attend international seminar overseas, either as a presenter or participant.

International nursing program

International program is an undergraduate program that provides an international level education which is inline with universith mission to be a world class university. This program is open to international students as well as indonesia students. Learning process is conducted in english, delivered by experienced lecturers graduated from well known universities in indonesia and overseas. Besides active learning, students are exposed to clinical situations and community setting which give them diverse and deep nursing experiences.
